Some Sydney Susan

Susan has arrived! She has been here for a LONG 2.5 days (and when I say long, I mean painfully long). Just kidding...it has been great.

We have done loads. Thankfully Susan has been patient with me, as it is my last week here in Sydney and I have had tons to do and loads of goodbyes to say.

A quick highlight:
1. Lunch with my housemates at a Chinese food court (we had Sweet and Sour Shredded Pork on a sizzling plate)
2. A walk around Circular Quay and the Botanical Gardens with April (a girl from work).
3. Dinner in Chatswood with Hannah (my coworker and dinner buddy) at our favorite sushi joint
4. The trendy walk of Oxford Street
5. The Bondi to Coogee walk with lunch at my favorite Mediterranean place
6. Dinner in Chatswood for octopus balls and honey chicken with work mates (Jason, Emlyn, and Hannah)
7. Harbor Bridge Climb
8. Ferry ride around Darling Harbor and a nice walk around Darling Harbor.

Okay, internet time is running low and our stomachs are a rumbling. I am finally in a blog mood and my time does not permit it. Lately I have been in a slump and have not felt like blogging; maybe an effect of not wanting to leave this place (and having to write about it makes it more of a reality).

Anyway, we are heading to the Outback on Sunday for seven days. Susan, Emlyn, and myself will be renting a camper van and treking through the Outback. Hopefully the spiders, snakes, and murderers will not get us, nor the possibility of breaking down/starving to death or the speedlimitless one lane roads with no shoulders! I cannot wait! Bring on the showerless and toiletless week.

Come on Uluru!

No internet access while out there, so please do not worry about me.

Say "Hello" to Susan for me. You just broke the golden rule: You are not suppose to tell your family and friends about dangerous adventures until after you have survived them. I know leaving AUS is hard for you but I am looking forward to your return to MN. I miss you!

Adam, I totally agree with Dad. I am so impressed with your description of things, it almost feels like I can see it all. Your adventures are amazing!
I love you and await your return also.

Adam, the roads aren't THAT bad. And there are speedlimits in the NT. Just watch the night driving. Animals in OZ are nocturnal (like i need to tell you) so mind the kangaroos. Also, mind the road trains! peace out sydney

Adam, I only wish that I could be in the Outback. Hope you and Susan enjoy your adventures. Naturally, we are all counting down your return. Oh, our we suppose to be sad that you have to come home? Sorry, it's hard to feel sadness. Enjoy your adventure. Love, Aunt Lynn

It sure seems like it's you and a lot of ladies! =) *wink, wink*

Eric is SOOO jealous. J/K. I haven't asked him. But he is. He brought timtams back for me (and Mike)! You think I should go get them and eat them all before Mike knows about them?
