Six hour disgust
Last night was below sub par. I planned on going to the gym and having a nice hard work out. EXCEPT at work I started to have the feeling in your stomach, you know the one where you feel something is going to force itself out...just a question of which hole. I sat at work and hoped it would go away; unfortunately that was not the case. I left 15 minutes early, THANK GOD, because I arrived home just in time to see my lunch in the toilet. The next six hours was devoted to one thing and only one thing. I tried to watch TV (Wife Swap and Supper Nanny were what was on and therefore they stayed on) and then decided the bed would work better than my couch.
I cannot say it was six hours of torture, because I do enjoy the feeling of vomiting. And the feeling immediately after is also great (calm stomach and a feeling of victory). I hate the feeling leading up to each throw up though...one of the worse feelings in the world.
The other terrible thing is that I have no health insurance. Automatically I think it is my spleen, appendix, something that will require a doctor's visit and an emergency surgery, and something I cannot afford. Thank goodness that was not the case.
I never knew I could write so much about being sick.
All right, off to a slow, lazy day. I want to ensure I am healthy before returning to work. I called in last night for this morning and this afternoon. I think it is best to ensure my germs are gone before returning to the kids. I do have an interview tonight, so hopefully I am back to my normal, strong self.
