An unmotivated post

Wow…again a bit since I have blogged, but this blog is going to be full of updates and exciting news.

Since I have last written, being February 7th, I have been on vacation and made in some respect exciting news and in other respect disappointing news. Before we get to that, let's get through the days leading up to my road trip and the road trip itself.

Tuesday, February 7th was Dan’s last night in the UK (he was my roommate from London two years ago and has been here for six months). As he spent his last couple of months in Edinburgh, Dan stayed at my place for his last night. To commemorate his achievements while here, we of course went to no other place but the pub. Paddington was tonight’s port of call. We met Eric and dined in an Italian restaurant and then went for drinks. We had a nice time, sad to see him go, but we all know that the point will eventually come.

Wednesday was your average day at school followed by me racing to my second job. I fortunately arrived early and was able to stop at a coffee shop for a nice vanilla steamer and a quick read of my book. The job itself was terrible. The managers are infamous for being rude and completely out of order and tonight was no exception. I was yelled at, pushed, and yanked for no good reason. The event was not planned well (a dinner for 1200 Conservatives with special guest David Cameroon) and they therefore took out the frustration on us. All the staff was quite upset but knew just to keep their mouths shut and get out as soon as possible. They even had the nerve to force us to stay late. Oh well, this is to be expected in this type of industry.

Oh man…I was going to type up the road trip account, but I just realised that I previously started it and this computer does not have a disk drive. I am therefore not motivated to do any of it over again, so you are just going to have to wait.

It is funny to see how quickly my motivation dropped because I do not feel like typing anything anymore…so the news will have to wait (I hate when people do that, so in one sentence…I might not be staying for an extra year, I might come home on time). With that said, reasons and feelings will have to wait for another blog.

Happy Day to all!

Adam! What did you Say?!!! Did I hear "HOME"? Well, I will not hold my breath. But, like your Dad, I await your next post. I also wanted to hear how your road trip came up. I believe you said it was a spur of the moment, whim. Anxious to hear more.

Hey Alex, I got your message late last night about dinner. I am so glad you gave me a call. I was with Grandma down at the hospital seeing Aunt Norm. Bummer, next time I hope we can go to dinner. Thanks for thinking of Old Aunt Lynn!
