TC and KH

Greetings all! Happy Halloween and daylight savings time (boo, now I get up with the sun already up and get home when it is getting dark).

A real quick story about how the Brits celebrate Halloween. I was having dinner in a pub lastnight (Oct 30) and two kids came into the pub and trick or treated in the pub! How stupid! One came up and did not even say anything, just stared at me with his mask! Pathetic! The kids did get loads of money (maybe they are just smarter than we were). Another place, a gated community, had rules and regulations for trick or treaters posted. BLAH!!!

Keith...this is for you. On Saturday I worked an event for the Scientology "religion"and or cult. The event was the 21st annual international awards night. It had about 2,000 people and they were from all over the world. The crazy founder, an American, has a massive estate outside of London and we went to work there. It was huge!!!! The most elegant event I have worked, all in the middle of a field. Two building type pole sheds were erected for the dinner itself and the kitchen. The meal was four courses and the decorations were gorgeous. However, once the entertainment began, and they started praising scientology, all of us hired help got creeped out. The awards were for the highest donors. Ha ha, not the most converts or the highest morals, but those who donated the most money. In addition to being very posh, I saw Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (hence the TC and KH post title)!!! It was pretty exciting to see Katie Holmes, most likely the top of my list. I did not see her entire face, but the half I saw was enough for me.

School has started again so I am back at it. The weather is getting a bit cooler and the leaves are changing. I walked through Hampstead Heath yesterday and the smell of leaves was all around me! I even caught a whiff of burning leaves! Carved pumpkins were posted on some window ledges as well.

Friday is Guy Fawkes day so fire works have been going off constantly since Sunday. Do your own research to find out what it is (ha ha). Last night I went to the top of Primrose Hill and watched the fire works throughout all of London!! An amazing sight.

Alright, enough from me! Thank you for the thoughts, prayers, phone calls, letters, packages, and all that I have received; it is greatly appreciated!

Peace!

Gregg, Good research, but I think you found some biased misinformation... I studied this "worldview" (to be polite) all last semester... they are not as weird as we want to think but they are still odd. They don't believe that thing about aliens... but if you want to read something really funny... Google the term "Xenu" and read... it's classic.

I find it quite natural that they partied at L Ron's House... As every church still has an office set aside for him, even though he died in 1986! Oh well At least you got to see America - NAY- The World’s favorite crazies, The Cruises.

That is crazy. I have a somewhat "crazy" story myself about my interactions with Michael Bennet. As I was venturing towards 35W to go pick up some things from dad's house, I saw Michael Bennet, and he told me to put my car in neutral and give it some gas, he wants to "hear the engine." I did this for him, and he replied with a, "Nah, I don't want it," followed with some chuckles from him and his possey. So what did i do? I did what anyone in the prized Pontiac 6000 would do, I squealed my tires and sped away.

Hi Becky! It's fun hearing from you. We could all use spell check. Adam, we want to hear about your visit with the Queen. Could you add that to your program! What are you waiting for?!?! There has been alot of media happening this week on Scientology. Very interesting.
Alex, I thought you had a dead battery. How could you run into Michael Bennett? I am concerned that this blog site is slow-w-w-w-w-w-w-wing down. What happended to all the early bloggers? Let's start emailing them and remind them to stay current. Have a great weekend.
