Safe and sound

I made it!!! It is now 9am London time and I am showered, moved into my temporary home, and ready to hit London, even though I have not had any sleep. The flight went well except that when we began to taxi in MPLS they realized we did not have enough fuel. We had to turn back and refuel, which delayed us an hour. Not a bad delay, except when your layover is only an hour. I arrived in Chicago at 3:53 pm and my flight left at 4:05 pm. 12 minutes equals a mad sprint across the Chicago airport.

Other than that, my flight was uneventful. It is weird to think I am here for 11 months! Crazy. Anyways, my day is about to begin with a quick breakfast and then off to orientation about taxes and legalities of working in Britian. Then I am going to try and find a phone, open a bank account, and purchase my travel card.

Cheers!

Bad-man!

So glad to hear about you making it there without a problem. Hopefully the plane was showing Sister Act 1-3 for your on-board fun.

Hey, I'm glad that you're there safe and all. Good luck finding a job. Make it a good one that you probably couldn't get legally in the United states, like a drug dealer or something. Well, happy pimping

Hey Creepy! I'm sooo glad you had a safe flight!

Hopefully, you aren't able to find a place to stay, so you need to go find some random athletic facility's shower to bath in, or a river, or stream...and then find a small child to creepily stalk behind a tree!

Miss ya already!
